Max Mutter

Max brings an impeccable science pedigree to TechGearLab, highlighted by a Masters in Biological Sciences from Oxford University in England. At TechGearLab, Max has led a two-year effort to embrace the industry's most scientific testing on reviews of more than 300+ consumer products, carefully developing testing plans and side-by-side comparison testing, to assure that each product is fairly and objectively rated versus competitors, to scientifically determine which is best, and which offers the most practical bang for the buck. When he's not reviewing gear for TechGearLab, Max spends hours tinkering with his road bike, researching what climbing gear will best be able to drag him up mountains, and determining which evaporators make the best homemade maple syrup.
