Jane Jackson grew up in the mountains of Wyoming, where she (reluctantly at first) gained an appreciation for the outdoors that she has carried with her into adulthood. After graduating from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado with a degree in U.S. History and an obsession with desert climbing, she drove to Yosemite valley where she worked seasonally for years. In between her time in Yosemite, Jane has traveled by van, airplane, bicycle, and bus to explore rock climbing around the world. Though she identifies as an outdoor cat, she also appreciates the convinces of living indoors after years spent on the road. Nowadays, Jane can be found in Bishop, California, happily working on house projects, creating elaborate meals, and spending as much time outside as possible. She has been testing gear with GearLab since 2016.
