Monica Nigon earned a degree in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin and ate all the cheese curds she could before striking out west. While exploring her new home in Colorado, she came to fully appreciate the importance of excellent gear, ranging from technical outdoor apparel to tumblers to keep her coveted coffee warm. Since then, Monica has prioritized finding the best gear for a reasonable budget. When not testing and analyzing gear, you'll find Monica rock climbing, skiing, or playing the Irish fiddle in a local band.
