While the TaoTronics TT-BH07 offer decent performance given their price, the Anker Soundbuds are still a better overall value if you're shopping on a budget. The TaoTronics do offer better phone call quality and slightly better battery life, but the SoundBuds sound better, are more comfortable, and handle athletics endeavors with more grace. If you're looking for a cheap pair of wireless earbuds to make phone calls with, the TaoTronics are a good bet. Otherwise, the SoundBuds offer more value for your dollar.

Our Analysis and Test Results
The TaoTronics TT-BH07 performed quite well in our testing, but were outdone by the slightly less expensive Anker Soundbuds, making the SoundBuds a better buy for most users.
Performance Comparison
The TaoTronics TT-BH07 earned an above average overall score, as you can see in the table above. In the sections that follow we go through all the different tests we used to determine those overall scores, and how the TaoTronics TT-BH07 performed in each.
Sound Quality
The biggest knock against the TaoTronics TT-BH07 is sound quality, where these earbuds shared the worst score of 4 out of 10. That isn't to say that they sounded terrible, but the clarity clearly lacked some crispness when compared to other models, and the bass sounded relatively weak. Overall the quality still felt good enough to play some pump up music to power through a hard workout, but it definitely did not feel like a refined listening experience.
If you're looking for decent sound on a budget, the Anker SoundBuds scored one point better in this metric due to slightly better clarity and slightly better bass. One area where the TaoTronics TT-BH07 do outperform the Anker SoundBuds is in call quality. The TaoTronics TT-BH07 have a much better microphone, and thus treated those that we called from the earbuds with much better audio.
Comfort
The TaoTronics TT-BH07 was just behind the top score in our comfort testing, picking up a 7 out of 10. The earbuds come with 3 different sizes of both earpieces and ear fins, so wveryt=one we gave them to were able to find a decent fit. However, the earpieces weren't as supple as those on some other models, which kept the earbuds from earning a top score.
Athletic Performance
The TaoTronics TT-BH07 were again right behind the top scorers in this category, earning a score of 7 out of 10. We felt confident these earbuds would stay in, even through sets of sweating jumping jacks. the cable is also light enough that it doesn't annoyingly bounce around when you move. Some models, like the Anker SoundBuds, had just a slightly more secure feeling fit than the TaoTronics TT-BH07, which is what kept these earbuds from earning a top score.
Battery Life
The TaoTronics TT-BH07 last quite a long time, a full 9 hours in our test, which earned them a high score of 8 out of 10 in out battery life metric. This is plenty of battery for both multi-workout weeks and long plane rides.
Portability
The TaoTronics TT-BH07 earned a fairly good score of 7 out of 10 in our portability testing. In the pros column, these earbuds are quite low profile and come with their own carrying case. In the cons column they don't feel quite as durable as other models, namely the noticeably sturdier Anker SoundBuds, so we were less likely to stuff them into a small pocket.
Value
The TaoTronics TT-BH07 list for $50 and provide decent performance given that price. However, the Anker SoundBuds list for only $36 and outperform the TaoTronics TT-BH07 at almost every turn. There the SoundBuds represent a much better value for most users.
Conclusion
The TaoTronics TT-BH07 are decent, low-budget earbuds, but the Anker SoundBuds provide better performance for those looking to get rid of headphone wires on a budget.
